Me and Kuz discussed the idea of a new level amongst the Gods of the Lookout 1/2 omniverse. They would be known as Grand Gods, and there would be one over Light, Darkness, Creation, Destruction, Life, Death, and Time (similar to Beta Gods). A Grand God would take the job much more seriously, having another task to see fit rather than just being over something. If somebody causes a major imbalance in their respective category, they must eliminate the cause (such as the Light God seeing a tipping over in Darkness caused by an individual or event). Finally, a Grand God is able to own their own realm as an added bonus.
What's on your mind?

For L3, we will be working with levels of magic. No, this isn't really a game mechanic. This is an in-universe thing. Spells are classified by type and level by the Society of Magic and Alchemy. Only a handful of persons in the world can use Level 3 magic, so if you are caught giving your character Level 3 magic randomly, you will probably reprimanded.
Also, as a way to keep everyone around the same level for the entire story, Levels of magic will be unlocked after certain story beats. Will probably do it in 3rds. The first 3rd you can only use Level 1 magic, second third you can use both level 1 and 2 magic, and for the final 3rd, you can use all levels of magic. I will be doing forums about each level of magic in the next week, please pay attention to your notifications.
Since we have 2 entirely separate RPverses now (Lookout I/II and III), the main RP pages and navigation had to be renamed or reorganized, specifically by title.
PAGE TITLES
- (RP) = all
- (Lookout I & II) = L1 and 2
- (Lookout III) = L3
NEW CHANGES
- There is no Page/Forum RP page now (refer to the guide for info)
- Deleted the Timeskips page, merged with Timeline
- Renamed Gods of the Lookout Universe -> Gods (Lookout I & II)
- Renamed List of Dragon Balls and wishes (Lookout RP) -> [[List of Dragon Balls and wishes (Lookout I & II)]
- Renamed List of Sagas and Arcs (Lookout RP) -> List of Sagas and Arcs (Lookout I & II)
- The Movies page is for all 3
- RP Timeline (Lookout III), List of Sagas and Arcs (Lookout III), and pages have yet to be made
Also a reminder to update the NLC page with your characters in it if you have any.
Lookout 3 is almost ready. We need everyone to start making characters. If you have any arc ideas, consult me or Vegeta2314. Secondly, be sure to ask any questions you may have about what's needed for your character and what's allowed.
Note: If you wish to be in the very beginning, you will have to follow our instructions.
Hi. I was just thinking randomly about the wiki's affiliations. If you may check the link here: http://thelookout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Lookout_talk:Affiliation . As you can see, we have two affiliates, each being owned by users here, and not being very active. I think we should widen our userbase through Affiliation, and try to grow the wiki through others, while helping other wikis by joining theirs as well. This is very random, but just thought I'd ask users and admin's opinions.
Due to the massive amount of problems endured over the past months all over Alissa, her admin/bcratship is questioned and so I decided to make the official vote forum for her demotion.
I know she sent in an email to staff not long ago in which they said something about 'block everyone' or whatnot. The other day, I sent in one myself giving everyone else's point of the view, and in their reply they said to hold a community consensus, and if she is voted out, then she must remove her rights or they will. So, this is it.
It is a shame it has come to this. Even if she is demoted, a lot of what she has done has started a movement towards better wiki standards, which can't be denied. It is appreciated (if not by anyone else, it is by me). It is just the mere fact she has rights has riled up so much. As for L3, you don't have to be admin to make a difference or do something big. I back L3 up.

Please import all pages that you desire to be kept here. This will remove the main wiki clutter and make navigation easier. Be sure to import all templates, as they will be needed.
A few months ago, one could click random and would find themselves on a page with maybe a single sentence and at best maybe a single template. The categories were shitty, several of which mostly being duplicates as a result of Edit Farming. These pages would feature grammar on the level of a 5 year old, and the capitalization to match. Fuck them periods though, not like they mattered in the slightest.
These pages cluttered the wiki, and overall needed to be removed, regardless of feelings. If you're going to let bad pages slide, then you have no right to criticize anyone for anything they do. This is a double standard, and everyone should strive to make the best they can. Old pages are only good for nostalgia, and as such, only pages relevant to current RP events(Excluding Fanons and independent work, I.E. Somarinoa and Saints;Hoodie) should be on the wiki. Now old pages can still be relevant, but an effort has to be made to make sure they keep to standard. Quality is the most important factor here, and should be on the top of your priority list. Pages should also be simple enough to give new users something fun to read, while also being detailed enough so that they have the information necessary for RP.
Starting in October, I launched a programme to delete unnecessary pages and purge those that did not fall under established rules. For the most part, this went unhindered, minus a few complaints here and there. When I really started getting into the meat of things, however, things got out of hand.
1. Users assumed when clean up was done, everything would already be perfectly organized.
1.1 This is false, and I'm honestly ashamed to be associated with people who expect things to be so easily done. Clean up requires a lot of work, and categorization isn't going to be fixed like that. It's a multi step process. First, you merge duplicates, then you delete the useless ones. Next you delete bad or unnecessary pages. This can leave a lot of pages with missing categories and such, and the truth is, it's inevitable. In order to organize properly, you have to make a mess first, and several users don't seem to understand this.
2. Users say that because it's a part of the wiki's history that it should remain.
2.1 This is nothing more than nostalgia blinding the user. It's equivalent to wanting to keep a broken toy despite your parent throwing away because it's dangerous to your health. It's incredibly childish and needs to stop. If you wish to keep an old page so bad, update it to standard, or hope that it is a necessary keep due to RP. If it isn't necessary, and you don't feel like updating the page, why are you even fighting to keep it? Just stop with the clinginess and make a better page. It's the same as making you're presentable in public, and is disgusting when you don't. These pages are also often highly immature and have no place on the wiki. The logic behind the reason people want to keep these pages is often nothing more than sentimentalism and memories, which is terrible logic in the first place. I'm honestly open to the idea of someone making an archive wiki if you insist on keeping it around. But because people only want to complain, they never bothered to do this, or suggest this idea to me. So if your favorite memory has been lost, it's mostly your fault for complaining instead of helping.
3. Users that insist on attacking me and referring to me as a Dictator or Stalin.
3.1 Where do I even begin? First of all, all I'm doing is being an actual admin, a user with rights who uses these rights to make decisions, improve the wiki, and enforce rules without leniency, and notifying others when they are violating established rules and regulations with their content. The reaction to this is honestly comes off as spoiled whining. The users come off as though they have final say when this isn't the case. A user can do votes, a user can form polls. They can create pages, and have discussions. They one thing they can't do, is make decisions about the wiki without admin consent. These users always come across as though they have more say than they actually do, and the reason for this is due to the extreme leniency when it comes to rules. There have even been instances where users will break rules constantly and only get a slap on the wrist because they are a long time friend or others give the reasoning of "That's how they've always been". No. Just no. This isn't right and it's turned this wiki into an anarchy. The wiki's philosophy to be more lenient than other wikis worked in the past, but only in the past. This is because back when this wiki was made, Wikia was an inherently strict place, with very few wikis offering any kind of freedom, with admins who blocked users for speaking out against decisions and stuff. I appreciate Lookout didn't go down this route, but nowadays Wikia is quite lax. Even Community Central allows some swearing now. All the while Lookout became even more lenient. Granted content quality improved, but the wiki still allowed users like Ghoster, Gotanks, and Ambrient to run wild here. They were rarely ever punished, and their pages were of the lowest quality. This wiki wasn't lenient anymore, it was just an anarchy. And whenever someone with common sense tried to enforce anything, a majority of the community flipped out. "OMG rules exist it's the end of the world." That's how everyone was and it's honestly hard to watch. And users who defend these people are just as guilty and should be punished just as severely. You wouldn't defend a murderer, now would you? No. So don't defend bad users. Also, people keep calling me a dictator. Sorry, if I was a dictator, I'd be blocking users left and right for merely speaking their mind. I'd block people for being idiots. I'd delete pages without warning, I'd block people for existing. To call me a dictator is nothing more than just wrong. At most you can call me strict, and even then I'm not as strict as you think I am. You're all just a bunch of lawless delinquents. There's no sugar coating it. You refuse to follow rules, and antagonize me and expect to get away with it. Sorry, I'm not your typical admin that's easily corrupted by user outcry. If I honestly believe someone needs blocked, you're not allowed to complain. When I have someone reporting to me your bad behavior, don't start demanding proof. Demanding proof is an easy way to get your block extended, and unless you can provide proof you DIDN'T do it or enough users can TRUTHFULLY vouch for you, you aren't getting unblocked. I'm not going to take the chance that you are just trying to get away with doing something bad. I just won't take that chance. It'd look bad on my part, so I could care so so soooo little how much you want to scream about it. It isn't worth it, so you're better off just being patient and letting it end. Hell, if you're nice and behave and don't bother me, I'll unblock you early. I'm easy to work with if you don't scream at me 24/7.
4. Assumptions about L3 and me supposedly being controlling.
4.1 This isn't so much of an issue anymore as L3 has garnered quite a bit of support, but the assumptions that L3 is going to be controlled 100% by me and that I'll force death on people is just wrong. All I'm doing is directing the main events, the main battles, and such. The story is largely lore based, and the main plot rather open, and RP won't be much different from before despite missing a few features from before. More information on this is covered in other forums. About me being controlling however is another matter. All of my actions are based on observation. And while they may not be popular, they are methods I've seen work on other wikis.
Now opening: the Lookout Fanon Hall of Fame, containing the best chosen fan-fictions written by the writers of the wiki.
The standard for fan-fictions in the hall would be graded upon, first of all, grammar and story in general. Closer in, we'd focus on how well it is written (such as eloquence), and character and plot dynamics. Any great fanon has quite an intellectual meaning behind it, or is a metaphor for something, with a strong base and hook to it that draws readers in. They are deserving of high appreciation and analyzation, and the writers are respected in their art. Length also matters, fanons must be at least 50,000 bytes to be considered.
Admins and fanon critics would ultimately decide what goes in the hall. Fanon critics are users who the admins believe are good readers and analysts of fanons and thus aknowledges their opinion.

Since my attempts to do my arc keep ending in complete failure with like 2 people RPing (the rest saying they will RP then don't), I will have to take other measures. This is the final big L2 arc and my most complex/developed ever, so I figured people would go along with me and try to get it finished so we can finish L2 (and can't at this rate, so can't complain). I need to know specific times that any RPer can get on (on any wiki chat). The arc was designed for at least 4 people (like most of mine) and will be done correctly.
Kuzon has added a new rule that all pages must be 1 kb in size or more. If your page is not long enough to follow this rule, fold it into a related page or expand it.
Pages that do not comply will have their creators notified immediately and given two weeks to expand it or combine it with another related page.
Sorry for the outburst on chat. Clean up has been really stressful for me, and all these attacks just make it worse. I want so badly for all your support, but there are times I just want to block everyone and finish it myself. Most of you are never constructive with your complaints, and only complain to complain. Hell, staff just told me to block all of you for making it so hard on me. But I won't. I've honestly been very generous these months I've been an Admin. I'm really lax and I've let a lot of things slide. Iwas always open to feedback and suggestions, but I wasn't going to blindly say yes to everything. I have to think things through thoroughly. It's not that I hate everyone, it's just some of you just don't know what you're talking about since you've only ever been on this wiki. I've been on dozens, all over the place. I've seen so many wikis die because of the decisions you guys make. I'm trying to save this place, and you just aren't helping.
Change is difficult, I know, but it is a forced hand situation. DB RP just doesn't work anymore. It doesn't satisfy enough. We need more than that, but if you aren't going to budge, this wiki is going to die. Please just trust me on this. I'm trying really hard to save this place, but your actions keep making me feel like I'm the only one who actually cares. Stop attacking me, behave yourselves. I wouldn't have to force so much if you just followed the rules. Please.
All FanFic characters are to have a section on the fanfic page describing them. This prevents the wiki from being cluttered with small, stubby pages.
A FanFic is to be completed. If you fail to complete it, it will be deleted. Incomplete pages are a no no, and if you do not feel like finishing something, it will be gone, regardless of how much time was put into it.
FanFics will be graded based on quality of the writing. All fanfics with a rating of "F" will have their Writers notified and informed to fix some of the glaring issues with the FanFic.
Do not ask someone else to finish it for you. Only you know how you want the story to play out, no one else.
Please be more professional.
You have a week to port all unique attacks to their respective character pages. If they are not ported by then, they will be lost when the scythe is brought down on the category. You have been warned. If you don't have the time, make the time.
Ever since this wiki's inception, users have been making separate pages for attacks and techniques. However, this is sloppy organization. Starting today every user is to take the time to import every unique attack and technique page to their respective character pages. Most of these unique attack pages mention the character who uses them, so this shouldn't be difficult. Once done, I will be purging the categories related to these pages.
This is has been a message from your friendly neighborhood Bcrat, Alissa the Wise Wolf
L3 is going to feature a leveling system that displays the current progressions of the story. It doesn't affect your battling strength, but it does determine when you get to add new abilities. This helps regulate how powerful one can get in a certain amount of time.
EXP will be given out at the end of each Story Event and Major enemy. As such, Levels will be used as a way of displaying story progression. I expect everyone to at least be level 25 by the end of Part 1 of L3.
I'm not gonna spend a million years in describing the details, but it's mainly to keep track of progression, and has no bearing on how RP actually works.
Due to the nature of how L3 will work, weapon management had to be implemented to get the most out of the experience of developing your character.
L3's combat RP system requires one to rely on weapons rather than their own energy. Yes there will be magic, but unless your character specializes in it you won't be able to use it effectively. Your only other option is your fists or a melee weapon. Guns are a thing too, but that'll be covered later. Right now, let's focus on melee weapons.
These weapons include swords, axes, hammers, staffs, spears, etc. Now normally one would have kept the same weapons they start out with in the beginning up until the end, only gaining new ones with more special abilities. However, in this system, the weapon you start out with will be a plain sword or axe, maybe a spear or two, maybe, MAYBE, a lightly enchanted weapon, but you're definitely not going to start out with a sword to end all swords.
As such, getting better equipment is a focus of RP. This can be done while in shopping centers or looting enemies. Now this isn't a numbers game, so don't expect a complex system of number management when it comes to changing weapons. No, instead the weapon strength is determined by descriptive text ranging from "poor" to "legendary" in the categories of Durability, Damage, Weight, Speed, and Maneuverability, though probably the most annoying factor would be the durability.
Durability of your weapon determines how likely it is to break during combat. And if it breaks, you'll need either resort to magic, or hand to hand. How you can go about this is up to you, just be sure to be honest about it. To determine if a poorly durable weapon breaks, you roll a die. If you get a 3 or lower, it will break. Now if the durability of your weapon is fair to good, you have to roll a 1 to break it, and when you get to the excellent to Legendary range, you have to roll a 1 twice to break an Excellent weapon, or 3 times to break a Legendary weapon.
Chances are, however, that the weapon you start out with will be one of fair to good quality, so you have a low chance of losing your weapon in combat. Also, most poor weapons are random items found in the enviornment, like pipes or rocks. Poor durability also applies to smaller weapons and one off weapons, like throwing stars(I know they aren't necessarily poor in durability, rather they are small and hard to find if they miss their target).
Now here is where we get to the good stuff. Introducing, God Arms. These are the most powerful weapons that can be found on the L3 homeworld of Gaia, and are indestructible by most accounts, only being able to be broken by other God Arms or the man who forged them. As such they cannot break in regular combat with regular enemies, and hold the special ability to summon divine beasts to your aid. And given the open world structure of L3, you can try and find these at any time before and after major events. Be sure to bring allies with you, however, as you have to fight the beast contained within them. It is recommended that you don't go and find them until after a few main events as to have a much wider array of abilities to give you an advantage in battle.
If you have any questions, please comment below. If I wasn't clear enough, please inform me below as well.
It seems some people didn't quite understand my previous forum on this topic, so I'll break it down simply.
Spoiler Warning.
L2 is going to end with existence being deleted. And I mean deleted. Not restarted. It's not going to be coming back.
L3 will be an entirely new existence created from the ground up. Different Races, Different Lore, different combat, etc. None of it will be the same other than and easter egg here and there for veterans.
This is why I said to refrain from doing anything connected to DB for your L3 character. Be original. If anything this world will resemble Final Fantasy in structure. If you do not know what that is, look it up.
I hope this cleared up the confusion. If you are still confused, you are beyond any sort of help.
It has come to my attention that user influence is too great on this wiki. In a quest for equality, a good chunk of the power admins would normally have is removed.
So from now on, Admins are not to be swayed by users. Recommendations are appreciated, but it'll never help the wiki if everyone continues to support one side and not the other. Starting today, all discussions will be held by the council and the council alone. All decisions made through these discussions will be final. With mine and Kuzon's conflicting ideals, we can actually make compromises to make the wiki a better place. If you do not like this, you can leave. You are regular users, yet you have the same level of say that an admin has and that's just not going to fly. Admins are admins for a reason.
Good day
Alissa the Wise Wolf.
PS: Think of it like FDR's time as president. Conflicting views lead to compromises which lead to a better experience overall.
PPS: All recommendations will be discussed between the Admin council and the council alone.
This will be added in the rules. If you actually care about keeping this wiki alive, you should have no qualms with this. And I mean none.
It has become clear to me that everyone is either extremely out of practice with RP, or you just don't give a fuck, which honestly is THE worst attitude you can have right now. RP last night was some of the worst I've ever seen, though it improved immensely when the user count dwindled. If you aren't going to dedicate yourself to the wiki and take RP seriously, don't RP. You WILL drive off other users who would like to join if you don't get your act together.
The changes made to how the wiki works wasn't because I wanted to transform it into something that appeals to me. I changed it because that was the ONLY way the wiki was going to survive. I know change can be difficult, but this asinine behavior isn't going to help. Dragon Ball RP is dead. It doesn't bring the users needed to keep the wiki alive. I'm all for some classic DB RP myself, and honestly would've kept the wiki the way it was if these issues weren't present. It forced my hand. Everything I've done, is to create a wiki more appealing to the Wikia Community as a WHOLE. What a few assholes here say about it doesn't matter. That behavior is why we lost half the user base. That behavior is WHY we haven't been able to RP as much as needed. I have spent, so much TIME on making this wiki better to the masses that it SICKENS me with the shit I have to deal with as a result. And those who wish to say we can continue on our own, news flash, WE CAN'T. The community just isn't big enough anymore, and most of the new users can't even get on till late in the evening. We aren't going to survive at this rate. If you don't think you can put time and effort into making this wiki better, you can leave. I do not have the patience anymore TO DEAL WITH THIS BULLSHIT! Please. Show some fucking respect.
