The Maze of Izami is an ancient abandon magical temple located within the Void, which is the thick empty black space around the center of all 12 universes. The temple was first used prior to 950 billion Before Age, by ancient mage priests, who were among the first civilized/evolved beings, to be used as the protective base for the Staff of Zen'no Pawa, during the universe's formative era.
Overview[]
The temple features a large observatory-like device used to cycle universal essence and keep balance, namely, keeping the Staff of Zen'no Pawa, the staff responsible for keeping all 12 universes in balance, safe and protected inside an impenetrable energy sphere. The temple earned the name the "Maze" due to its very long, confusing, yet dangerous interior. Over time, the temple was abandon and deteriorated. The Staff was moved to a safer location, no longer needing help from its magical protectors. The temple no longer exists today.
There are many magically-locked doors in the maze that require an oral code in an ancient long-forgotten language to open. Kuzon Jr. led the Lookout Crew at this point, opening portals to the Great Library to collect information on the ancient language and thus open the doors. One door leads into a deep room, which is dark and filled with skeletons of the Lookout Crew from alternate timelines, who failed to stop Kochaku and thus the universe was destroyed.
Holy Apocalypse[]
In 1063, during the Holy Apocalypse, Kochāku corrupted the modern Staff of Zen'no Pawa. He then went back in time to 4 billion Before Age to kidnap the Staff of Zuzu Pawa and throw existence out of balance. The Lookout Crew, who were pursing him, were sent back in time by Elyus the Alpha God to 970 billion BA in an alternate timeline, to receive the staff.
They ventured through the maze, and encountered many of his minions. They could not leave the maze however, as it was surrounded in a Time Void energy that would throw them from existence into an infinite black hole permanently. The castle was collapsing on itself, prompting them to hurry up. Eventually, the crew got the Staff and were transported to the Sphere of Uchu Sozo for their final battle with Kochaku. They overpowered him and prevented him from destroying existence, and he was later sealed effectively for another trillion years.
